Scope and Contents
This series is comprised by the records of Rafael Fernandez, Curator of Prints and Drawings for 19 years. The records cover a broad array of activities of the Prints and Drawings Department, including research for and texts of exhibition labels, records of accepted or proposed acquisitions, and personal and business correspondence.
Fernandez was a professor at Williams College, and there is correspondence covering courses as well as graded essays written by his students. Alonside of the educational material intended for Williams, the series includes planning for various symposia, as well as research and drafts of a catalog based on the Prints and Drawings department collection.
